We are a Social Network for Retirees and Semi-Retirees, where we have ‘Fun and Friendship in Retirement’. Probus is Not-For-Profit, Non-Sectarian and Non-Fundraising and is a Community Service Activity of Rotary.

All our Monthly Fun Activities are normally held on a Monday of each week (Except Public Holidays).

1st Monday: Probus Walking Group

2nd Monday: Meeting & Speaker

3rd Monday: Ladies’ & Men’s Lunches

4th Monday: Monthly Visit & Tour

5th Monday: Wine & Cheese Tasting

Our Probus Theatre Group enjoys several events throughout the year. A Melbourne Cup function is held in November with a traditional Christmas Lunch in December.

We meet up on the 1st Monday of each Month at 8.45am for a 9.00am start at various locations. The walks are usually easy and last between 1 hour and 1.5 hours ending up at a nearby Cafe to enjoy coffee or tea and refreshments.

Our Monthly Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the Month at the Aspley Hornets Football Club, 50 Graham Rd Carseldine, starting at 10.00am sharp. Please arrive by 9.30am to register your attendance. Enjoy a delicious morning tea which is free for visitors for their first 2 meetings. Also enjoy a self funded lunch at the club after the meeting.

At our Monthly Meetings we have a Guest Speaker to talk about very interesting topics which will appeal to our Members and Visitors.

The Lunches are held at a local Restaurant or Tavern on Alternate Months on the Third Monday of each month.

We normally have a combined Ladies and Men's Lunch as part of our Monthly Visit & Tour held on the 4th Monday of the month.

Our Monthly Fun Visits and Tours (Outings) are held on the 4th Monday of the Month and usually consist of a day trip, taking us by coach to interesting destinations around Brisbane, Ipswich, the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast and beyond.

Our Wine and Cheese tastings are held on the 5th Monday of the Month (normally twice per year). They are hosted by a Wine Company who supply the wine and a variety of cheeses. They run a very informative and fun event which may include a Trivia Quiz and prizes.
