Who We Are
The Probus Club of North Brisbane motto is ‘Fun and Friendship in Retirement’. Probus Clubs are Not-For-Profit, Non Sectarian & Non-Fundraising and are a Community Service Activity of Rotary.

Weekly Fun Activities
Our Weekly Fun Activities are normally held on the Mondays of each Month (except Public Holidays).
1st Monday: Walking Group
2nd Monday: Meeting & Guest Speaker
3rd Monday: Ladies’ or Men’s Lunches
4th Monday: Visit & Tour
5th Monday: Wine & Cheese Tasting

Walking Group
We meet up on the 1st Monday of each Month at 8.45am for a 9.00am start at various locations. The walks are usually easy and last between 1 to 1.5 hours finishing up at a nearby Cafe to enjoy coffee or tea and refreshments.

Monthly Meetings
Our Monthly Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the Month at the Aspley Hornets Football Club, 50 Graham Rd Carseldine, starting at 10.00am sharp. Please arrive by 9.30am to register your attendance. Enjoy a delicious morning tea which is free for visitors for their first two meetings.

Guest Speakers
At our Monthly Meeting we have a Guest Speaker to present very interesting topics, which will appeal to our Members and Visitors and increase their general knowledge.

Ladies' and Men's Lunches
The Ladies’ and Men’s Lunches are held at a local Restaurant or Tavern on alternate months on the 3rd Monday of each Month.
We usually have a combined Ladies' and Men's Lunch as part of our Monthly Visit & Tour held on the 4th Monday of the month.

Fun Visits and Tours
Our Monthly Visits & Tours are held on the 4th Monday of the Month and usually consist of a day trip, taking us by coach to interesting destinations around Brisbane, Ipswich, The Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast and beyond.
Some local Visits may involve self driving with optional car pooling.

Wine & Cheese Tastings
Our Wine and Cheese Tastings are held on the 5th Monday of the month (normally twice per year). They are hosted by a Wine Company who supply the Wine and a variety of Cheeses and they are very reasonably priced.
They run a very informative and fun event which may include prizes. Usually the wines tasted can be purchased at the Venue at a discounted price.

Other Fun Events
Our Theatre Group enjoys several Events at various venues in Brisbane throughout the year. Probus Members can click on ‘Fun Activities’ then Go To ‘Theatre Group Events’ to see what’s on.
We have a fun event to celebrate Melbourne Cup Day with Lunch and Sweeps at a local Venue in November.
We also celebrate a Traditional Christmas Lunch at a local Venue in December as well as a 'Christmas in July' Event.
In February we enjoy a Chinese New Year Banquet with Lion Dancing.
