Probus offers retirees and semi-retirees the chance to stay socially connected and mentally engaged through fun and friendship, all in a welcoming environment free from fundraising, politics, or religious agendas.

Our members participate in regular fun activities such as social outings like bus trips, monthly meetings with guest speakers and morning tea, and they can also join smaller activity groups for shared interests such as our walking group, ladies' or men's lunches, a theatre group, wine & cheese tasting events, etc.

Probus is a great way to develop new friendships. To quote a recent Probus Club member “The day I joined my Probus Club, I instantly had 100 new friends”.

Simply click or tap "Contact Us” in the Menu, complete your details, then in the Message field, advise your interest in attending the next Monthly Meeting or a specific Club Activity, include any dietary requirements, click/tap 'I'm not a robot', then 'Submit'. We will send you a welcoming reply with instructions on how to attend the Next Meeting or other Activity.

Visitors may attend a maximum of 3 Activities including Meetings of the Club. After that, it is anticipated that the Visitor will become a Member of the Club.

Follow instructions in question 2 above to attend a Monthly Meeting (See ‘Activities’ in the Menu, for the Next Meeting Date & Time) and while at the meeting, ask our Membership Officer for a Probus Club of North Brisbane Membership Application Form. Hand the completed form back to the Membership Officer and once approved, you will be inducted as a Member of the Probus Club of North Brisbane at the next Meeting.

Fees for our Probus Club of North Brisbane are:

A one off Joining fee of $25.00 per person, which includes your Membership Pack and Name Badge.

The Annual Membership Fee is currently $40.00 per person or pro-rata depending on when you join. Annual Membership is from 1st April to 31st March the following year.

Currently a $12.00pp meeting fee also applies at each meeting which includes Morning Tea. Visitors receive their first two meetings free.

Our Probus Club payment options are:

This is the preferred payment option to avoid delays at our meetings.

Cash payments are accepted for Meeting Fees only (currently $12 pp), but the correct amount must be tendered as we are unable to provide change.

NOTE:

After paying, Members should click on ‘Book Now’ in the Menu to register for the paid Activity.

Some Activities may require payment in advance, while others are free or paid at the Venue. Check ‘Activities’ in the Menu for individual Activity payment requirements.
